Moxie Milliner
Not made to blend in

Too wild for mass production
A little about me
I’m Tarrah — a Nebraska-born hatmaker, fire-starter, and old soul with a steady hand. I’m the one-woman force behind The Moxie Milliner.

I didn’t take the traditional path. I didn’t go to school for fashion or design. I taught myself with fire, felt, and a deep belief that imperfect can still be beautiful. Maybe even more so. I burn each detail in myself. No templates, no mass production. Just instinct, art, and a respect for the process.

I fell in love with the history of millinery — especially the way women used hats to express identity, strength, and rebellion. Back then, a hat meant something. Mine still do.
I create for the ones with edge. For the ones who’ve lived through it. For old souls with stories to tell. I see beauty in the scars, the grit, the resilience.

This is more than craft to me — it’s connection. It’s how I honor history, people, and the art of making something real in a world full of filters.
